Dear Bobcat:
Did you know graduation is not automatic? You must for your degree, major, minor, or certificate to be awarded, even if you are not planning to participate in a commencement ceremony. The graduation application for Spring Semester 2024-25 is now available in the and the deadline to apply for your degree, major, minor, or certificate is Monday, February 17, 2025.
If you plan to graduate this spring semester, please apply for graduation as soon as possible and before the deadline. If you plan to graduate summer semester and would like to participate in the spring commencement, you must also submit a spring application by the deadline and indicate you are completing summer semester. If you do this, you automatically will be reapplied for summer semester for the programs indicated on your application.

On successful submission of your application, graduation application fees will be charged to your student account. You may pay fees through your . Payment is not required at the time of application, but failure to pay any fees assessed to your account could create delays in receiving your diploma.
Once you have successfully applied for graduation, you will receive a confirmation number via email. If you have already received an email with your confirmation number, then your application is complete.
Late Application Policy: If you do not apply by Monday, February 17 but still need to graduate or participate in commencement, you will need to contact the Office of the University Registrar at 740.593.4196 to submit a late application for graduation. Please note that if you choose to submit a late application for graduation, you will be charged a $100 late application for graduation fine, in addition to any applicable standard graduation application fees. Alternatively, you have the option to apply next semester and not be charged the $100.00 late fine.
