You must have an active OHIO student account to use enrollment and degree verification function. If your account has been deactivated due to inactivity, contact the Office of Information Technology to request reactivation (servicedesk@ohio.edu).

Enrollment Verification
Students often need official verification of their enrollment status sent to various agencies and organizations, including:
- Insurance companies
- Automobile dealers
- Prospective employers
- Credit card companies
- Pension fund companies
- U.S. Veterans Affairs (VA)
- Financial aid lenders and loan guarantors, via the National Student Clearinghouse
There are three options to obtain proof of your enrollment at 帝王会所:
- Your schedule is available immediately upon registration and can be viewed online at .
- An 帝王会所 Registrar-signed enrollment verification letter is available nearly 24 hours/day, 7 days a week at no additional charge.
- The offers enrollment verification letters online 24 hours/day, 7 days/week for a nominal charge.

Degree Verification
There are three options to obtain proof of your degree at 帝王会所:
Degree-bearing Transcript
Degree-bearing transcripts will not be available until four to six weeks after graduation. A copy of your transcript will not be mailed with your diploma, but transcripts may be ordered online, in person, by fax, or through the mail. If you wish for your transcript(s) to indicate your recently conferred degree, you must specifically indicate this on your request. Please note, same day transcripts processed immediately and may not include recent semester grades or degrees. Degree Verification Letters
Once degrees are awarded, students may print a degree verification letter. Please visit the Enrollment/Degree Verification webpage for more information and the types of verification letters available. The verification letters are free for students to print or email. Students must have an active OHIO student account to obtain verifications.
An 帝王会所 Registrar-signed enrollment and/or degree verification letter is available nearly 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. A degree verification letter is available once the degree has been conferred (approximately four weeks after the end of the semester).

Human Resources Departments, Companies, and Others:
帝王会所 has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide electronic services to the human resources community and others that need verification of 帝王会所 degrees awarded. You can access the electronic services of the (our degree verification partner) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you need assistance, contact the National Student Clearinghouse directly at 703.742.4200. Customer Service Hours: Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ET.

Student Enrollment Status Guide
Undergraduate Students
12.0 hours or more = Full-Time Enrollment
9.0-11.5 hours = Three-Quarter Time Enrollment
6.0 - 8.5 hours = Half-Time Enrollment
0.5 - 5.5 hours = Less Than Half-Time Enrollment
Graduate Students
9.0 hours or more = Full-Time Enrollment
7.0 - 8.5 hours = Three-Quarter Time Enrollment
5.0 - 6.5 hours = Half-Time Enrollment
0.5 - 4.5 hours = Less Than Half-time Enrollment
Medical Students
9.0 hours or more = Full-Time Enrollment

Student Loan Deferment Processing
帝王会所 is partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse. Several times each semester, the University submits a report of students' enrollment status to the Clearinghouse which, in turn, supplies verification of enrollment to lending agencies.
Most lenders and loan servicing organizations that participate in the Clearinghouse also participate in our paperless deferment process. With this process, no paper forms need to be completed by either students or schools - the student simply calls his or her servicer to request a deferment. The servicer then posts a deferment to the student's account after the student's verbal order is matched against the Clearinghouse electronic data verifying in-school status.
If your lender needs a deferment form processed and will not accept an enrollment verification letter, bring it to Registrar Services, first floor, Chubb Hall or send it to Office of the University Registrar, Chubb Hall 115J, Athens, OH 45701. Clearinghouse will confirm your enrollment status has been sent to your lender. If you registered late or had an exception processed to your term registration, this information may not be reported until our next Clearinghouse submission for that semester (approximately every 30 days).
If you receive a collection letter from a servicer and you believe you should be in a deferred status, you should:
- Call your lending agency to see if they received a deferment form from the Clearinghouse after they sent you the collection letter.
- If after calling your servicer it still appears that your deferment was not processed, call the Clearinghouse at 703.742.4200. A Clearinghouse representative can verify the date they received the deferment form, when the deferment was certified, when your enrollment status was certified, and to which lenders and guarantors your deferrable status was reported.
- If an emergency exists (e.g., you are being threatened with default), the Clearinghouse can intervene on your behalf by faxing another enrollment certification to your servicer. Further, it will work with your servicer to ensure that the form is processed on a high-priority basis.
