Get to Know the Russ College

Engineers, technologists and aviators much prefer the doing to the talking. The Russ College of Engineering and Technology offers a forward-thinking, experience-centered learning environment where technical expertise and collaboration produce ideas for the future. At Russ, we discover ways to make a sustainable mark on the world. By emphasizing soft skill development alongside technical practice, our students gain the know-how to solve real-world problems — creating jobs opportunities from the moment they graduate.

Undergraduate Students

At the Russ College, you’ll be part of a rigorous academic and research community based on the principles of mathematics and science. We look at the holistic record of well-rounded students with ambition. For engineering disciplines and computer science, our typical first-years rank in the top 30 to 50 percent of their high school graduating classes, with four years of math, a year of chemistry and a year of physics; and a minimum score of 23 on the ACT or combined 1160 on the SAT. Learn more about admission requirements or begin your application

Taking the Student Experience to the Next Level

But we believe that what really makes your experience worthwhile are the things you choose to do, like taking advantage of our many valuable learning and leadership opportunities and extracurricular activities. Here are some other ways that our students are taking their experience to the next level.
