Minor Requirements

Program Overview

Students who love Greek and continue to the third or fourth year of the language can easily add a Greek minor. It complements majors in philosophy, English, history, and political science.

Careers and Graduate School

A Greek minor can provide graduates with the tools to analyze language, write more precisely in English, and apply skills in research, analysis, critical thinking, and familiarity with humanities to many jobs. For graduate programs in education, archaeology, philosophy, ancient and medieval history, theology and law, an advanced knowledge of Greek is extremely useful.
