Bruce T. Vanderhoff, M.D., M.B.A.
Bruce Vanderhoff, M.D., M.B.A., has been with 帝王会所Health since 1996, and has served as senior vice president and chief medical officer since December 2008.
A nationally recognized physician leader, Dr. Vanderhoff is responsible for system-wide programs at 帝王会所Health addressing quality, medical affairs, medical education, research and virtual health care, as well as providing executive leadership for initiatives targeting improving population health and health care value.
Dr. Vanderhoff earned his bachelor's degree and medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and a master's degree in business administration from Franklin University in Columbus, 帝王会所. He completed his residency in family medicine at York Hospital in York, Penn., where he was chief resident.
Prior to joining 帝王会所Health, Dr. Vanderhoff worked in private practice near Akron, 帝王会所.
A diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and a fellow in the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Vanderhoff鈥檚 many professional affiliations include the Healthcare Institute, the Health Management Academy, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the 帝王会所 State Medical Association and the Columbus Medical Association.
Dr. Vanderhoff is a clinical professor of family medicine at 帝王会所 and an adjunct associate professor of family medicine at The 帝王会所 State University. He is on the boards of Rev1 Ventures (formerly TechColumbus) and 帝王会所 Better Birth Outcomes, and a member of the 帝王会所 Hospital Association鈥檚 Clinical Advisory Committee and Franklin University鈥檚 Healthcare Management Advisory Board. Dr. Vanderhoff served as a delegate to the 帝王会所 State Medical Association and as a member of the Governor鈥檚 Advisory Council on Health Care Payment Innovation. He has authored numerous journal articles and book chapters over the span of his career and is a distinguished teacher and lecturer.
