AirMedia Welcome Screen

AirMedia allows you to display content from your laptop to classroom and conference room projectors and wall-mounted screens wirelessly.

Install and Connect to AirMedia

Option 1: Use the AirMedia Guest Application (Windows or Mac)

This option allows you to connect to a specific AirMedia screen.

  1. Make sure you are connected to eduroam wifi (not 帝王会所 Guest).
  2. Open a web browser.
  3. In the web browser鈥檚 address bar, type the IP address (four sets of digits separated by periods) in the upper left corner of the screen (for example, 鈥192.168.0.12鈥 in the image above).
  4. On the web page that appears, click to Download the utility for Windows or Mac.
  5. Open (double click) the file you downloaded.
  6. AirMedia will launch and ask for a code. Enter the four-digit number from the upper right corner of the screen (for example, 鈥5808鈥 in the image above).

Option 2: Install AirMedia from OHIO Software Center (Windows)

This option allows you to connect to AirMedia devices across campus without having to download an application each time.

  1. On a university-owned computer, open Software Center from the Windows Start Menu.
  2. Search for and install AirMedia (Crestron).
  3. When ready to connect to a display, open the Crestron AirMedia app from the Windows Start Menu.
  4. The app will search for AirMedia screens in your area and display a list. Choose the screen you want according to the address in the upper left corner (for example, 鈥淎irMedia-01f8b0鈥 in the image above).
    1. If the AirMedia app doesn鈥檛 find your screen automatically, type its IP address (for example, 鈥192.168.0.12鈥 in the image above) into the box where 鈥淓nter receiver鈥檚 address鈥 is displayed.
  5. Once connected, the AirMedia application will ask for a code. Enter the four-digit number from the upper right corner of the screen (for example, 鈥5808鈥 in the image above).
