President Stewart Gonzalez surprises students with cookies during “Finals by Alden”

Libraries’ biannual “Finals by Alden” event occurred from April 22 to May 1 and was as successful as ever. With so many activities and goodies to help prepare students for finals and to alleviate some end of semester stress, the Libraries’ offered things such as goodie bags, button making activities and even a surprise appearance by the President.
President Lori Stewart Gonzalez and Lyn Redington, vice president for Student Affairs, visited Alden Library on Tuesday, April 30 with cookies and refreshments from OHIO’s culinary services. Both walked around the Library offering those treats to students working and studying hard for finals week, as a little pick-me-up and a small push toward the last leg of the school year. As always, OHIO and University Libraries are here to help ease student’s stress as the semester comes to a close. Check out some images from the event below:

Shelby Lane, a sophomore studying criminology and sociology, and Sydney Goss, a sophomore studying forensic chemistry, look over the many cookie bags from Redington and Gonzalez to decide what flavor they’d like.
