International Studies — War and Peace Major (B.A.)
The International Studies – War and Peace major addresses the recent and dramatic spike in demand for graduates with competencies in various areas related to war, conflict, security, peace and justice.
This interdisciplinary program combines a strong grounding in core Arts & Sciences disciplines with opportunities to form your course of study around your professional and academic goals.
The program features one-on-one advising, intensive language training, and study abroad. Students participate in events and workshops related to dynamics of conflict and cooperation, network with experts and activists, work closely with our faculty and present their research in national conferences.

War and Peace Studies students have earned competitive internships and careers at the U.S. Department of State, congressional offices, the U.S. military, the Peace Corps, and non-governmental organizations like Amnesty International and The Carter Center.
