Early Career Development Programs
Faculty development at 帝王会所 is intended to support our exceptional faculty in their roles as engaged teachers, scholars, researchers, creative artists and service providers throughout their academic career. The following programs and opportunities are intended to support new, transitioning and early career OHIO faculty.
New Faculty Welcome
The OHIO New Faculty Welcome provides critical information, resources, and support for new faculty joining any of 帝王会所's campuses. The event offers information regarding critical processes and procedures, student support and success, promotion and tenure, tapping resources that support teaching and research, and key introductions to University contacts.
Building Bobcats Community Learning Program
The Building Bobcats: New-to-OU Community Learning Program is designed to provide participants with community-focused networking and learning opportunities. Specifically, program participants will be introduced to unique aspects of 帝王会所, the Athens community, and Appalachian 帝王会所 by actively exploring the 帝王会所 campus and surrounding community.
Thriving in the Academy Workshop Series
The Thriving in the Academy Workshop Series provides support for early career faculty new to the academy. Topics include academic planning, research productivity, healthy relationships and work-life balance.
Diverse Faculty Mentoring Program
