Our Application is located on the Student Senate Bobcat Connect Page, In order to fill out the application, you need to scroll down to the "Forms" section of the page and fill out the form entitled "Application for Student Senate Positions" If you have any questions about a position or don't know where to start, reach out to us at senate@ohio.edu.

The µÛÍõ»áËù Student Senate is a branch of the university governance structure that advocates for, and represents all students to university administration and beyond. Every year, we help fund over 600 student organizations, as well as helping to host events like Pride Week, Finals Fest, Take Back the Night, and many more!
We are a diverse group of students looking to make a difference on µÛÍõ»áËù’s campus. The main goal of the Student Senate is to make campus a better place to be, for students, faculty, staff, and everybody else. Be that through policy change or event planning, we are student focused and student led. Chances are, if something is happening with the student body, we, the Student Senate, have at least given some input on it.

Senate Appropriations Committee
SAC is the funding commission for the Student Senate. They provide semesterly and biweekly funding to student organizations for programming and events. SAC meets on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. in Walter Hall 235. You can contact the Senate Appropriations Committee at sac@ohio.edu.

General Body Meetings
Our General Body Meetings are every Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. in Walter Hall 235 (unless otherwise posted). Our General Body Meetings (GBM for short) are fully open to the public, and we encourage all students to attend! At the start of every GBM, there is a time slot for Student Speakout, giving any concerned student a platform to speak their thoughts to the Student Senate body.
