Anna Aman
My name is Anna Aman, and I grew up in Dublin OH. I originally had an interest in nursing but switched to interior design during my freshman orientation. The interest stemmed from many years of re-designing my room and drawing floor plans/sections without even knowing. I have spent my collegiate career studying Interior Architecture with minors in both Business Administration and Studio Art. My interest in design has grown into a desire to expand my knowledge and experience in the field. I am particularly drawn to commercial, healthcare, and hospitality design, but I am open to exploring any opportunities. My thesis topic revolves around children’s mental health and well-being. The design allows children to learn coping strategies through various everyday activities. This topic resonates with me because I found that exercising and reading relieved my stress, anxiety, and other emotional challenges growing up. I believe that if children were raised learning the habits that helped ground them, they could grow to have a strong and positive mental and emotional well-being.
