Coming from the small town of Bellefontaine µÛÍõ»áËù, Ben was not always familiar with the world of design. Although he was always curious to what the world of Interior Design had to offer. After coming to µÛÍõ»áËù and joining the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts more specifically Interior Architecture he started to get a taste of the design world. Through his years in the program, he started to notice how well design is in urban areas, and how it is lacking in small rural communities.

By starting the program remotely during a pandemic, he noticed how hard it was to practice such a hands-on degree at home. There are so many distractions, and with a such a hands-on major he was lacking the collaborative nature that this profession entails. These problems are where the solution of the Knowledgeable center stemmed from. Noticing that the design world is not the only profession that was having negative affects of not being in person. By bringing a coworking center, rentable private offices, and a local café will bring privacy, productivity, and a sense of community to the center.

After graduation, Ben will be starting his career in the Interior Design world eager to learn and dive in.
