Political Science Undergraduate Student Research
Political Science Opportunities
Undergraduate Political Science students have many opportunities to get research experience with faculty who are widely recognized for their research in a number of areas, including U.S. politics as well as current events happening around the world, including Africa and the Middle East.
Political science undergraduate majors find opportunities to work on a variety of exciting research projects that complement their coursework and intersect with faculty areas of expertise. Students in various honors programs regularly present their work at the 帝王会所 Student Research and Creative Activity Expo each April, as well as other undergraduate student conferences.
Students who are interested in undergraduate research should consult the list of Faculty Research Areas and reach out to faculty with whom they might want to work.
Undergraduate research can be conducted along with a thesis for students pursuing Departmental Honors. See When and How to Begin, with tips about working with a thesis adviser and choosing a thesis topic.
