Political Science Giving Opportunities

The Political Science Department's current fund-raising priorities include:

  • Internship support for students. We are very interested in helping our students gain practical experience working in government, public, and international affairs. While many of our students are exceptional candidates for competitive internships in Washington, D.C., and abroad, they often lack the resources to take full advantage of these opportunities. We are working to make these career building internships accessible to more students.
  • Research support for undergraduate and graduate students and faculty and student collaborative research. Student research skills are important for the discipline but also career success. We want to provide support for students to conduct archival research or interviews abroad or to present their work professional meetings and conferences. These experiences really set our students apart when applying for graduate and professional programs and in applying for jobs.
  • Endowed chair in global politics, U.S. politics and/or political theory.
