Intro to the Fitness Center Workshops

All WellWorks members are invited to participate in free Introduction to the Fitness Center workshops during Employee Free Week. Advance registration is required. Click the event title to register.

Workshop Description: The "Introduction to the Fitness Center" workshop, led by a WellWorks personal trainer, will guide participants through the facility, familiarizing them with the layout and equipment. Attendees will learn how to use various machines safely and effectively, while also receiving tips on proper form and technique. The trainer will discuss the importance of different types of workouts and provide insights into creating personalized fitness goals. Participants will leave feeling confident and ready to make the most of their fitness journey.

Monthly Trainer-Led Workshops

All WellWorks members are invited to participate in monthly trainer-led workshops. 

Cost and Registration: 

  • Bobcat and Black Diamond: Members of our specialty packages, Bobcat and Black Diamond, are able to participate in these workshops at no additional fee! Our Wellness Specialists are able to manage your registration for these events on your behalf. Simply request they do so by stopping by our front desk. 
  • Basic: Basic Membership holders are able to register for a small fee. They may do so by registering online using our Member Portal (click the event title to be taken to the enrollment page).

Specialty Classes

Training for a special event? Looking to hone your practice? Need support feeling comfortable in the fitness center? WellWorks has a class for that!

In an effort to provide niche programming to clients seeking individualized attention from group fitness instructors, WellWorks offers specialty classes. 

Registration Details: 

  • Our Black Diamond members can enjoy participation in specialty classes at no extra fee. Simply stop by our front desk and one of our friendly Wellness Specialists can register you for any speciality classes you wish. You do not need to manually register yourself on the portal; we'll do the work for you! 
  • Those members enjoying our Basic, Successful Starter and Bobcat packages can register for a small fee. You may utilize any registration links provided to manually register yourself on our member portal.

    Women on Weights


    The Women on Weights (W.o.W.) program is aimed at teaching women how to properly utilize free weights to help improve balance, posture and strength while addressing participants' unique body mass goals.

     

    It is suggested that participants complement the class with a minimum of one additional solo strength-training session each week.

    Triathlon Training


    Join us for Triathlon Training to jump-start your health and wellness goals in the new year! Triathlon Coach Bill Hauschild will help prepare your bodies and minds for the triathlon season.  

    This 14-week class incorporates some short lectures on how to properly prepare for and navigate a triathlon. The class meets once a week and alternates between swim, bike, and run workouts. Along with weekly classes, your class registration includes a progressive 14-week physical training program to help you get into top shape.

    The Great Yoga Wall


    This class series is focused around building knowledge of proper body alignment and how yoga can be used as a restoration method. The class will include slow flow yoga movement to build heat, gentle & restorative postures, breath & guided meditation. The course participants will utilize the yoga wall and other props to achieve relaxation of body & mind. A small class size guarantees personalized assistance on pose and body alignment.

    This yoga series applies to anyone who experiences tension, stress, or body pain.
