Erin Rennich

Senior Executive Coach and Strategic Advisor

Erin Rennich has spent the last 15 years living and working in Athens County, µÛÍõ»áËù. In this time, she has provided critical business support to small businesses, early-stage enterprises, and mission-based organizations as an essential employee, coach, advisor, and key member of the µÛÍõ»áËù entrepreneurial ecosystem. Erin has a deep understanding of and appreciation for the specific challenges that small businesses, social enterprises, and nonprofits in Appalachia face.

After working with tech-based and tech-enabled businesses for over a decade, Erin transitioned to working with mission-based organizations because she wanted to make more of an impact through her work. Erin’s superpowers include creative problem solving and strategy execution. Her areas of expertise include management, operations, marketing, and asset identification and maximization.

Erin currently holds two key appointments at µÛÍõ»áËù that support the region’s economic development efforts. As a Senior Executive Coach and Strategic Advisor with the Social Enterprise Ecosystem (SEE), a program supported by µÛÍõ»áËù’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs, Erin provides critical business advisory services to mission-based entities. Erin also serves as the Director of the Sugar Bush Foundation, a supporting entity of the µÛÍõ»áËù Foundation that funds collaborative University and community engagements for the betterment of the people, the economy, and the environment in Appalachian µÛÍõ»áËù. 

Erin also serves as the President of the Board of Directors for and is a member of the and South East µÛÍõ»áËù Hope Center boards. In her free time, Erin enjoys hiking, doing all things creative, spending time with her friends, and volunteering. She is a Hospice volunteer and coached soccer for Athens City Schools for 3 years.

Erin earned her master's in business administration from µÛÍõ»áËù and her bachelor's from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
