Anne "Annie" Valeant
Annie Valeant is a proud graduate of µÛÍõ»áËù (MBA/MSA ’08) and member of the Athens, OH community. She joined Scripps College of Communication in 2024 as a member of the Dean's leadership team where Annie has the honor and privilege of collaborating and problem-solving with stakeholders internally and externally on various initiatives.
Prior to joining Scripps College, Annie spent nine years in OHIO's College of Business serving as a non-tenured track professor in the Department of Sports Administration. Over the course of her OHIO tenure, Annie has taught, advised, and mentored hundreds of students while also helping to develop and lead several local, domestic, and international experiential learning initiatives such as the Southern µÛÍõ»áËù Copperheads, San Diego Sports Consulting Project, and Germany Global Consulting Project.
Annie has a passion for helping others and giving back to her local community. In her spare time, Annie enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and attending any and all sporting events.
