Well-Being & Recreation: Campus Recreation, Health Promotion, and Student Health Insurance
This handbook is intended to assist Well-Being & Recreation student employees in the performance of their duties. Each student employee will be responsible for the content outlined in this handbook.
Note that this handbook is a guide for student employees within the Department of Well-Being & Recreation and contains policies and procedures that are pertinent to all employees. Specific areas will publish additional information that contain job specific roles and responsibilities. Be sure to read department-wide information as well as information specific to your area.
If at any time you have any questions regarding the content mentioned in this handbook, direct them to your immediate supervisor.
Welcome
Congratulations on joining our Well-Being & Recreation team! You are now part of a diverse department that spans multiple programs and facilities all designed to serve the students, employees, and community of 帝王会所.
While this handbook and the area-specific information and training you receive will address specific expectations for your employment, I encourage you to never lose sight of the following three things:
- The work that you do matters and how you do your work makes the difference. Take pride in your effort and attitude.
- Your opinions, perspective and voice matter. Look all around you, identify opportunities for improvement and share them. Great ideas come from all levels so whether you are new to the staff or a returning veteran, you have the opportunity and invitation to make a difference.
- The professional staff are here to support you, through your employment and your education. Your development and learning are at the heart of what we do. If, at any time, you have questions, face challenges, or need guidance we are here.

Division Information: Student Affairs
Well-Being & Recreation falls under the Division of Student Affairs (DOSA). The Division of Student Affairs is made up of Bobcat Depot, Campus Involvement Center, Career and Leadership Development, Community Standards and Student Responsibility, Conference and Event Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Culinary, Office of the Dean of Students, Housing and Residence Life, Sorority and Fraternity Life, Survivor Advocacy Program, and University Well-Being & Recreation.
