Lecture Capture Evaluation Project

About the Project

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is launching a comprehensive evaluation project to assess and select the most suitable lecture capture technology for µÛÍõ»áËù. This initiative aims to enhance faculty instructional capabilities and improve students' learning experience. OHIO’s lecture capture contract with Panopto, ends in June 2026. This Request for Proposal (RFP) process is designed to ensure that OHIO faculty and students maintain access to a lecture capture solution that aligns with the evolving needs of our academic programs and integrates seamlessly with our existing systems. The project will include:

  • Feedback gathering from the OHIO community
  • Market research
  • Testing and evaluation of potential solutions.

Our goal is to ensure that the chosen technology supports our commitment to delivering high-quality education and fosters an engaging and interactive learning environment

Lecture Capture Tool RFP Committee

The RFP Evaluation Committee is made up of faculty and staff from across the University who will evaluate vendor proposals based on technical requirements and feedback gathered from current users.
