All graduate applications must be submitted electronically through the Graduate College. You will be prompted to first select the term for which you wish to apply. Then select 鈥淕raduate Degree Application.鈥�

Program Requirements

To be eligible for acceptance into the Master鈥檚 of Reading Education Program applicants鈥� transcripts must demonstrate that they have taken at least 12 credit hours in literacy education coursework (for Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Childhood, and Special Education.) However, only 9 credit hours in literacy education is required for those whose licenses are in Adolescent/Young Adult or Multi-Age.) In addition, applicants are required to hold a current, valid teaching license. If needed, 帝王会所 offers additional coursework in literacy education which can be taken before applying for the program as a nondegree student.

Admission Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree: Applicants are expected to have a bachelor鈥檚 degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or equivalent.
• Official Transcripts of all academic work showing a 3.0 GPA must be submitted with the online application.

• Three Letters of recommendation are required. They can be from former employers, instructors, advisers, or persons otherwise having had a professional or academic experience with you.
• Academic Writing Sample: Examples may include a published paper or a paper submitted for a course.
• English Proficiency: Please review information about 帝王会所鈥檚 English Language Proficiency requirements.
• A $50 application fee is associated with the submission of your application for this program.

All applications will be reviewed holistically, however, prospective master鈥檚 students generally should have an undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.00 (4.00 point scale) and a bachelor鈥檚 degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent.
