Accreditation and Educational Outcomes
As mentioned, the Council on Social Work Education's 2022 EPAS document sets forth the standards for judging social work programs in this country. The four main features of an integrated curriculum are 1) mission and goals; 2) explicit curriculum; 3) implicit curriculum; and 4) assessment (CSWE, 2022). The program faculty members have formulated a competency-based curriculum as well as a program assessment plan, based on the nine social work competencies (CSWE, 2022). This plan involves the use of various assessment instruments that are implemented at targeted stages of the program.
