Important Dates

You are responsible to know dates that are important to your success. Many of those dates are included in the Academic Calendar.

Adding Courses

Registration:

Students are responsible for registering themselves using the .

Late registration for nursing (NRSE) courses is prohibited. Registration for NRSE courses closes 7 days prior to each session start date. Check course offerings to find the course start date. NRSE course instructors do not have authority to allow late registration to NRSE courses.

Enrolling in a General Education Course (Non-Nursing) After the Last Day to Add:

If you want to add a general education (non-nursing) course after the last day to register, you must gain permission from the instructor. Please email the instructor of record. Check course offerings  to find the Last Day to Add date and the Instructor of record.

Dropping Courses

To cancel classes prior to the start of a semester: If the first session of the semester has not yet started, you may cancel registration yourself by logging in to your account at and using the 鈥淒rop鈥 function on your enrollment page.

To withdraw: To withdraw from the University, you must drop all your classes after the earliest start date of any of your registered classes. Contact nursing@ohio.edu to initiate the withdrawal process. Withdrawal is not allowed after the last day of classes, based on the earliest end date of your classes.

These requests are processed on a daily basis during office hours (M-F, 8-5PM Eastern) by the Office of the Registrar, so please allow time for their staff to process. More information and contact information for the Office of the Registrar can be found here: .

Please remember that any course dropped ON or AFTER the class starts will have financial implications. The only way to receive a 100% refund is to cancel registration by the day BEFORE classes begin. Please visit the 帝王会所 Registrar webpage for more information: .

A partial refund may be possible between the start date and drop deadline; please click on the calendar icon next to your class on your schedule in your to learn more.

REFUND GUIDELINES:

A student must drop a course BEFORE the first day it meets to receive a 100% credit or refund.

Dropping a course on the first day of class through the fourth day of a 5-week-long class will result in an 80% credit or refund.

Typically, after the fourth day of a 5-week-long course the student is responsible to pay full tuition, regardless of whether they attended class.

Course length may vary and it is the student's responsibility to be aware of all course dates relating to dropping courses for credit or refund consideration by the university.
