Dr. Donna L. Burgraff has had a broad career in education. She began as a high school teacher, moving to the collegiate level teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses. After many years as a teacher, Dr. Burgraff moved into administration working as a director, an assistant dean, and ending her administrative career as Dean before returning to her first love, teaching.

Dr. Burgraff has a B.A. in English/German minor and an M.A. in Counseling from Eastern Kentucky University, an M.S. in Adult Education from Marshall University and an Ed.D. in higher education administration from West Virginia University.

Dr. Burgraff has published articles in national journals, authored a book chapter, and has made national presentations. She was awarded a prestigious W. K. Kellogg Foundation National Leadership Fellowship. During her fellowship, she traveled around the world studying cultural transmission. She is a lifelong member of the Girl Scouts. Dr. Burgraff is a native of Appalachia鈥攁 culture she is extremely proud to come from.
