The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies program examines feminist theoretical concepts in the United States from their inceptions in early 20th century through the present. Discussion and research topics include women and the vote, sexuality, identity politics, and girl culture.

Students and faculty in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies explore a range of perspectives on feminism, including social, political, and cultural constructions of gender, race, and sexuality.

Issues pertaining to women and gender?such as work, health and reproduction, politics, education, violence, the arts, athletics; science, gender, and aging?are explored.
