Compliance

Compliance establishes an oversight program that coordinates decentralized compliance efforts to maintain institutional adherence to technical standards, regulations, and laws. Compliance ensures that the university鈥檚 policies and processes are aligned with external requirements, thereby safeguarding the institution against legal and regulatory risks. Compliance risk assessment supports comprehensive and coordinated response to critical compliance issues that impact the university across multiple operational areas. 

Mission

University Compliance and Privacy strive to be informed partners, collaborating with 帝王会所鈥檚 academic and administrative units to identify, understand, and resolve emerging or ongoing compliance and privacy challenges. We are dedicated to: 

  • Maintaining institutional-level compliance through consultation, facilitation, oversight, and monitoring activities; 

  • Proactively leading the university鈥檚 response to changes in federal and state law by identifying emerging areas of focus, promoting best practices, and seeking creative solutions to compliance challenges; 

  • Coordinating OHIO鈥檚 Compliance Network and providing education and training to employees and faculty; 

  • Always doing what is best for 帝王会所.
