Rayna is focusing on Culture and Writing, and she aims to work on fiction and non-fiction creative writing in Kashmir. Her previous work is based on transnational literature, and now she is focusing on narrative scarcity through fieldwork in Kashmir that leads to cultural erasure and orature amnesia.
