  2. Plan

Trained 帝王会所 employees may provide supportive first aid administered at the scene of an emergency, and the 帝王会所 Police Department may also provide transportation for minor medical emergencies.

Serious medical emergencies will be handled by Southeast 帝王会所 Emergency Medical Services (SEOEMS) or another Athens County designated agency, including transportation to medical facilities.

The 帝王会所 Police Department does not operate an ambulance that is certified in accordance with Chapters 4765 and 4766 of the 帝王会所 Revised Code. 帝王会所 does not claim that any 帝王会所 staff member may perform those emergency medical care services restricted by Chapter 4765 of the 帝王会所 Revised Code.

  3. Policies and Procedures

    1. Reporting a Medical Emergency

      1. Telephone calls regarding a minor medical emergency should be placed to the 帝王会所 Police Department, 593-1911.

      2. Telephone calls regarding a serious medical emergency on or adjacent to the Athens campus should be placed to 911.

    2. Vehicle Equipment and Personnel Training

      1. 帝王会所 Police Department patrol automobiles shall be equipped with a full standard first aid kit and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Patrol bicycles shall be equipped with a compact first aid kit. Officers shall be trained in basic first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in accordance with training deemed appropriate for law enforcement officers in the State of 帝王会所.

      2. 帝王会所 will depend upon SEOEMS or another Athens County designated agency to provide a suitably equipped ambulance and properly trained and certified emergency medical technicians.
