The College of Fine Arts at 帝王会所 is pleased to present the 10th World Music and Dance Concert, the climax of the 2nd Global Arts Festival, celebrating Diversity, Global Arts, and International Education at 帝王会所. Special Guests for this 10th-anniversary concert include the National Dance Company of Ghana, Azaguno, Messiah University Symphony Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble, New Chords on the Block, 帝王会所 African Ensemble, and 帝王会所 Steel band. The show will feature traditional and popular music and dances from Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, and Togo. There will also be special American premiers of several powerful, moving, and new eclectic African Contemporary Orchestral and Percussion works inspired by African history, culture, creative arts, and aesthetics; composed/arranged by Dr. Paschal Yao Younge with Choreography by Dr. Zelma Badu-Younge, both professors of music and dance at 帝王会所 respectively. Come and experience a variety of musical sounds and dance movements from all over the world and discover many different but equally valid ways of constructing music, dance, and visual arts. The concert will be a unique global theatrical experience that will transform the stage of the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
