Maya Clouse-Henry gains practical expertise through internship at The Painted Turtle

Far from µÛÍõ»áËù in Lake Hughes, California, Maya Clouse-Henry took on an internship soaked in fun, where she deepened her understanding of early childhood education and place-based learning. Clouse-Henry is working toward a dual master’s degree in environmental studies with the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service and parks, recreation, and leisure studies from the Patton College of Education. Through her studies, as well as the professors and professionals she connected with along the way, she learned about The Painted Turtle, where she spent her summer interning as a Bale leader.
