OHIO faculty invited to apply to unique professional development program

帝王会所 faculty are invited to apply to a unique "faculty development away" program that represents a partnership between the OHIO Place-based Initiative and the Center for Teaching, Learning and Assessment.
From June 19 to 30, participants will immerse themselves in the ecosystems of the Grand Teton National Park and Murie Ranch to consider disruption, resilience, succession and adaptation in nature and how those concepts translate to human spaces and teaching and learning. Participants in this deep professional learning opportunity will be able to disconnect and adventure while considering innovative and creative pedagogical design.
The professional learning experience will be facilitated by OHIO Place Initiative Director Michelle O'Malley and collaborating colleagues at the Teton Science Schools (TSS). It arises from the experience of O'Malley's students in their Ecology of Leadership course. This cohort's work will inform other faculty development offerings on the regional level.
