OHIO community invited to ERP vendor demonstrations

All µÛÍõ»áËù students, faculty and staff are invited to attend vendor demonstrations of potential software systems for the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) modernization initiative.

The demonstrations, scheduled for February and March, will provide overviews of each system’s functionality and how they might support OHIO’s specific needs for human resources, finance and student administration.

Sessions will be recorded, and all OHIO community members will be invited to provide feedback and submit additional questions. All meeting links, recordings, and feedback forms will be available on the ERP Assessment website (requires OHIO ID to view).

The ERP modernization initiative, which is the result of an in-depth assessment, aims to modernize the technology and business processes OHIO uses to manage key functions. The first phase, which includes human resources and financial systems, was approved by the OHIO Board of Trustees in January 2025. Plans for student administrative system improvements will be determined based on ongoing assessments and evolving technology.

Demonstration details

ERP vendor demonstrations will take place in two parts:

  1. High level overviews will take place Feb. 20 and 25. These are designed to help the University best understand key functionality, gather feedback and develop questions and requirements for subsequent demonstrations.
  2. In-depth sessions will be scheduled in late March. During these sessions, vendor representatives will provide detailed reviews of specific functionality and how it might meet specific OHIO needs. In addition, participants will be able to ask detailed questions in these sessions.
