Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, OSU Health System reach tentative multi-year agreement
On Monday, Dec. 30, 2024, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield – which administers OHIO’s health insurance plans – and the OSU Health System reached a tentative agreement on a new multi-year contract, enabling the OSU Health System to remain part of Anthem’s list of in-network providers.
What this means for OHIO employees
This tentative agreement ensures that the OSU Health System – including its doctors, the Wexner Medical Center and The James Cancer Center – will remain in Anthem’s employer-sponsored health plans without interruption.
The OSU Health System patients who recently canceled or rescheduled appointments to visit their MyChart account or contact OSU’s patient information line at 614-293-8000 to resume regular care.
