Undergraduates, shape your future and our region via research scholar positions at the Voinovich School

Are you an OHIO undergrad eager to dive into the world of research? Several Voinovich Undergraduate Research Scholar funded positions are available for the 2024–2025 academic year.

µÛÍõ»áËù’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service is seeking undergraduate research scholars in the areas of Energy and the Environment, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, and Public Policy and Leadership. The Voinovich School actively engages the University’s social and educational missions to help make the region and state a better place while providing students with unique opportunities to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects.

Each year, the Voinovich School offers competitive scholar positions to outstanding µÛÍõ»áËù students looking for career preparation opportunities and basic/applied research skills. You’ll gain valuable experience in collaboration and working alongside Voinovich School faculty and professional staff. Service to the region is key to the research efforts of the Voinovich School units.

Selected students will work with Voinovich School faculty and professional staff 10 hours per week, 15 weeks per semester, and be paid $15 per hour.

Students with a strong academic record (3.5 GPA preferred) who are registered through the full 2024-2025 school year can . Interested students must provide a cover letter, resume, a copy of their DARS report, and two academic writing samples.
