All µÛÍõ»áËù faculty and staff are invited to learn more about the ENGAGE program offered by the Diabetes Institute in OHIO’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.

ENGAGE is an 8-week, in-person program designed to empower individuals with diabetes to work with their health care teams and enable them to live well with diabetes. 

Topics for the upcoming program will include:

• Healthy coping with diabetes
• Making goals that make a difference
• Enjoying healthy foods
• Finding ways to be active
• Understanding your diabetes medications
• Managing stressful times
• Preventing long term complications
• Six month follow up assessment 

Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 5 – 7 p.m., beginning on Jan. 29 and continuing through March 18 at the Athens Community Center. For more information, please contact Hollie Goodell at goodellh@ohio.edu.
