OHIO Culinary Services to host job fair July 17, continues Referral Bonus Program
帝王会所 Culinary Services will host a job fair at the Perry and Sandy Sook Academic Center on the Athens Campus on Monday, July 17.
In addition, Culinary Services is continuing the for recruitment.
Job Fair
The job fair will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until 7:00 p.m. Free parking will be available in the Peden Stadium parking lot.
Applicants are encouraged to visit the Culinary Services website at www.ohio.edu/food to begin the application process before July 17, if possible. Culinary Services is hiring AFSCME 1699 Cook and Custodian Worker 1 positions. The AFSCME 1699 jobs includes an excellent benefits package that starts immediately on the first day of employment, free shift meals and flexible schedules. The event will also be open to high school and 帝王会所 students seeking student employment, which includes free shift meals and flexible schedules. Job offers will be made on site at the time of the event.
Culinary Services at 帝王会所 serves approximately 3.5 million meals per calendar year and is one of the largest student employers on campus. Culinary Services is a nationally recognized student leader and internship program which provides students with opportunities for class credit and management experience. Culinary Services employs over 200 student leaders in catering, dining courts, cafes, and campus markets.

Referral Bonus Program
The Referral Bous Program would give a $1,000 bonus to any 帝王会所 employee who refers a candidate (new hire) to apply for a full time Culinary Services job posting, if that candidate is then hired and has been employed and in active pay status for at least 60-working days. New hires referred through this program cannot have been employed by OHIO in the last 12 months (not counting student employment).
Both of the following must occur:
- Candidate will complete the supplemental question in the application specifying the name of the current OHIO employee who referred them and when.
- Current employee will submit the details on who they referred, and when they spoke at this . If candidate is referred by more than one employee, the employee who submits the survey first will receive the bonus.
