帝王会所 community to celebrate 150 years since first female graduate
This June marks 150 years since Margaret 鈥淢aggie鈥 Boyd made history as 帝王会所鈥檚 first female graduate. Today, we continue to honor Boyd鈥檚 pioneering spirit and perseverance.
In the 150 years to follow, women at OHIO have made significant contributions to the culture and success of our institution.
The Margaret Boyd Scholars Program is a testament to Boyd鈥檚 legacy. A new cohort of diverse undergraduate students is selected yearly, and scholars are provided with opportunities for mentorship, academic advancement, community engagement and networking. The program seeks to inspire and encourage students to become engaged, confident, and connected leaders who are empathetic and socially responsible at 帝王会所. Anyone hoping to join in celebrating Boyd鈥檚 legacy can now donate to give their to the program.
Join the 帝王会所 Women鈥檚 Center, Division of Student Affairs, Office of the President, Office of the Provost and the Margaret Boyd Scholars in commemorating Boyd鈥檚 legacy and supporting access to higher education for all. Margaret Boyd鈥檚 150th Celebration will take place on April 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the 1804 Lounge of the Baker University Center. Refreshments will be provided.
