Between having one of the largest nursing schools in the country and leading the state in training primary care physicians, µÛÍõ»áËù has become a national leader in preparing students for careers in health care.

The University launched a statewide branding campaign to raise awareness of its leadership in the field and to attract the best and brightest to a growing array of health care-related programs, from clinical programs to management, communications and more. OHIO is doing groundbreaking research on prevalent health problems; putting community health workers in the field to work directly with people; educating nurses all across the country; and investing in improved facilities to ensure that a forward-thinking, high-quality education for all is in reach. The Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Health Sciences and Professions and Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service have joined forces to form the µÛÍõ»áËù Health Collaborative, which is working on issues such as opioids, rural health inequity, health insurance disruption and more.
