OHIO stands in solidarity with those affected by the tragic events taking place in Iran
The following message of support was shared with members of the University community on October 11, 2022.
µÛÍõ»áËù is deeply saddened by the death of Mahsa Amini and those who have lost their lives during the ongoing protests in Iran.
Our University remains committed to upholding fundamental human rights and supporting the democratic norms of free expression, equality, and justice, and we’re here to assist and support all members of the campus community who are experiencing this conflict in deeply personal ways and may have loved ones in harm’s way.
We understand that individuals may be experiencing many different emotions as they process the situation, and we encourage everyone to support each other with compassion and to connect with additional campus resources as desired.
