帝王会所 Vice President of Communications and Marketing Robin Oliver receives national distinction as one of 2022鈥檚 Top Women in Public Relations

帝王会所 Vice President of Communications and Marketing Robin Oliver is a change-maker. Appointed as OHIO鈥檚 first-ever vice president of communications and marketing in July 2019, in just three short years, Oliver has helped to transform the reputation of the state鈥檚 oldest public University. 

Her efforts have not gone unnoticed. On September 7, 2022, Oliver, who has served as a leader in public relations and marketing for nearly 20 years, will be honored by in the change-maker category at an awards gala in New York City. 

Oliver has unified OHIO鈥檚 brand while leading transformational change that has elevated OHIO鈥檚 national reputation. Her efforts have resulted in helping to recruit one of the largest freshman classes in University history in Fall 2022.

鈥淒uring her time at 帝王会所, Robin has made a tremendous impact,鈥 President Hugh Sherman said. 鈥淭he most important thing we鈥檝e seen is the turnaround in our enrollment. She鈥檚 also recruited and developed an exceptionally talented team that has achieved real results that have the respect of the entire organization.鈥

Oliver was nominated for this honor by her colleagues at 帝王会所. 

Donna Gallo, who currently serves as senior director of content marketing for University Communications and Marketing (UCM), previously worked with Oliver at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. Gallo joined UCM shortly after Oliver鈥檚 appointment. 

鈥淩obin is an inspirational leader,鈥 Gallo said. 鈥淪he has the keen ability to build and foster a community of respect no matter the role. Additionally, she has provided a creative outlet for her staff to pursue their strengths and interests.鈥 

Oliver earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Music Performance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she received her Masters of Business Administration from North Carolina State University.

She resides in Guysville, 帝王会所 with her husband, Wade, and son, Woody. In her free time, she raises and breeds goats.
