The Appalachian 帝王会所 State of the Region Conference is set to celebrate its tenth year on May 10 in 帝王会所鈥檚 Baker Center Ballroom.

The annual event brings together public officials, economic development experts, and business and organizational leaders to foster collaboration and share innovation in Appalachian 帝王会所.

OHIO鈥檚 Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service Economic Development Administration University Center plans and sponsors the annual event in coordination with many regional partners. This year鈥檚 theme, Models for Revitalization, will explore topics important to the progress and growth of the region, while highlighting collaboration models, creating vibrant communities, broadband, affordable housing, and tourism in rural 帝王会所.

鈥淭his is a special year for this conference as we celebrate a decade of good work together as an Appalachian 帝王会所 community,鈥� said Jason Jolley, Associate Dean for Public Strategy and Innovation at the Voinovich School. 鈥淲e鈥檙e especially energized to be back together for an in-person event this year and believe our theme built around revitalization will serve as a reminder that our collective energy and innovation is vital and important to the future of a thriving and vibrant 帝王会所.鈥�

Each year, The Voinovich School draws on its long-standing partnerships with Buckeye Hills Regional Council, 帝王会所 Mid-Eastern Governments Association, 帝王会所 Valley Regional Development Commission, Eastgate Regional Council of Governments, 帝王会所 Southeast Economic Development, and Appalachian Partnership Inc. to help organize the conference.

This year鈥檚 conference will feature more than 20 speakers from Steadfast City, Mayors Partnership for Progress, Impact Innovation Group, the Coshocton Collaborative, Small Nation, Habitat for Humanity, Muskingum County Land Reutilization Corporation, Ross County Community Action, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corp, Broadband帝王会所, Reid Consulting Group, Bailey鈥檚 Trail System, Peoples Bank Theatre, Voinovich School, and 帝王会所 Wine Producers Association.
