AACTE Holmes Scholars Leadership Series continues Feb. 28
’s Patton College of Education, along with the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) and the Holmes Council, has organized a free four-part series of conversations designed to explore the leadership trajectories and experiences of various individuals connected to the field of education.
The second session in the series will focus on “A Conversation on Leadership Lessons with Deans of Colleges of Education,” and will be held on Monday, Feb. 28, from 6 – 8:00 p.m.
Speakers will include Dr. Andrew P. Daire, dean, School of Education, Virginia Commonwealth University; Dr. Michael E. Dantley, retired dean, College of Education, Miami University; and Dr. Mia Tuan, dean, College of Education, University of Washington. The moderator will be Dr. Renée A. Middleton, former dean of The Patton College of Education.
The take-aways will include:
- Leading in research and scholarship
- Interacting with leadership in our varied positions
- Leading from a diversity, equity, and inclusive perspective
- Leading during crisis
