OHIO extends current restrictions on all official student travel through Spring 2021

帝王会所 has extended student travel restrictions for OHIO-sponsored programs through spring semester 2021. This encompasses all official student travel, including independent international travel opportunities.

The suspension of travel is a continuation of policy initiated in July and is in response to guidance on non-essential travel during the COVID-19 pandemic that was received from the State of 帝王会所, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Department of State, and the University鈥檚 international security consultants.

While travel restrictions apply throughout spring semester, some university-related travel may be permitted with prior approval. Students interested in off-campus internships, practica or clinicals within the United States may petition their college of enrollment in order to participate. Additionally, students interested in completing off-campus research may petition the Research Division.

帝王会所 remains committed to supporting continued global engagement through virtual global experiential learning. The Office of Global Opportunities has resources to support the integration of virtual global activities into courses and co-curricular activities. Faculty interested in integrating these opportunities into their spring semester courses can visit www.ohio.edu/goglobal/faculty-staff/virtual for more information.

帝王会所鈥檚 virtual opportunities also include courses through the Global COIL Initiative, in which students participate in a collaborative project with students abroad as part of a course. Students can also pursue virtual study abroad and internship programs.
