Online Master of Athletic Administration program unveils a new curriculum starting Fall of 2020

帝王会所鈥檚 Master of Athletic Administration (MAA) is excited to announce that starting Fall 2020 the program will have a new and updated curriculum. The MAA program specializes in developing interscholastic athletic administrators who aspire to lead first-class education-based athletic programs that make a difference in the lives of young people.

The new MAA curriculum is a 30-credit hour program in a convenient online format that takes five semesters to complete. The curriculum combines the core academic areas of athletic administration foundations, leadership, marketing, facility/event management, financial administration, data analysis, law, risk management, human resources, and governance with practical application-based assignments that will prepare graduates to run an efficient and highly successful interscholastic athletic department.

Kelley Walton, MAA Program Director states, 鈥淚 believe we have taken what was a really strong curriculum and one that has served our students well over the past 10 years, to one that is exceptionally better. We have reduced the number of credit hours required while increasing the focus and quality of our courses.鈥

Through a ground-breaking partnership with the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association, the 帝王会所 MAA program was the first academic program to focus exclusively on interscholastic athletic administration. The new MAA curriculum continues to integrate content from the NIAAA鈥檚 Leadership Training Institute into MAA courses, and by completing the program, students earn credit towards NIAAA certification.

Director Walton adds, 鈥淲ith the combination of the updated curriculum, NIAAA foundations, and experienced and dedicated faculty, we provide our students with a high quality, high value education that provides the leadership skills, knowledge and abilities to successfully lead an athletic department.鈥
