Jacqueline Yahn to host first Remote Teaching Series talk April 6

The Patton College of Education has developed a new Remote Teaching Series that begins Monday, April 6, noon to 1 p.m. and will continue monthly. As we navigate the challenges of online instruction, these hour-long online presentations will discuss innovations in teaching with technology鈥攚hat is working and what isn鈥檛.

The first session features Dr. Jacqueline Yahn, assistant Professor and program coordinator, Middle Childhood Education, 帝王会所 Eastern. She will present, 鈥淲hat Worked Well in Transitioning to Fully Online Education. This series is open to 帝王会所 and the community. Each session will be hosted on Microsoft Teams and will be recorded for those who cannot participate live.

Monday, May 18, 12 - 1 p.m. 鈥淐reating and using instructional videos, screencasts, and podcasts to increase instructor presence, increase student interaction, and expedite feedback in online courses,鈥 by Dr. Jesse Strycker, assistant professor, Innovative Learning Design & Technology, Department of Educational Studies.
