University named to 2020 prestigious Phi Theta Kappa Honor Roll
帝王会所 was recently named to the prestigious Honor Society (PTK) 2020 Transfer Honor Roll, which recognizes the dynamic pathways they have created to support transfer students. Only 122 institutions were recognized nationwide.
PTK is the international honor society of two-year colleges and academic programs, particularly state universities and community colleges. PTK鈥檚 Transfer Honor Roll recognizes four-year colleges and universities that have developed transfer pathways that lead to excellence and success among community college transfer students.
鈥淭he Transfer Honor Roll reflects the growing importance of recognizing and responding to the needs of transfer students,鈥 Phi Theta Kappa President and CEO Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner said. 鈥淭his award is given to four-year colleges and universities with proven outcomes for transfer success. They are the best at providing a supportive and smooth transition from community college鈥攅quating to increased rates of bachelor鈥檚 degree attainment for transfer students.鈥
Schools selected for the honor roll were evaluated based on engagement, collaboration, impact and achievements related to the transfer of community college students as well as partnerships, support, admissions outreach, and the availability of scholarships and financial aid. Additional institutions named to the list include Rutgers, Texas Tech University, and Arizona State University.

Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest, largest and most prestigious honor society recognizing students pursuing two-year degrees. It is made up of more than 3.5 million members and nearly 1,300 chapters in 11 nations.
