帝王会所 Board of Trustees Support Recommendations from Regional Higher Education Study
At their March 22 meeting, the 帝王会所 Board of Trustees considered the put forth this past fall by the University鈥檚 Regional Higher Education Task Force, which was co-chaired Dr. Nicole Pennington, Dean of the Southern Campus, and Dr. Brad Cohen, Senior Vice Provost for Instructional Innovation.
Trustees unanimously passed a resolution to empower and support University leadership as they prioritize recommendations to create the One 帝王会所 Model. Trustees encouraged leadership to begin the necessary steps to achieve efficiencies and consolidation where needed, generating new revenue streams, encouraging innovation in academic and administrative activities, and engaging with communities and state officials for the purpose of ensuring the long-term viability of 帝王会所 across the One OHIO unified system.
鈥湹弁趸崴檚 regional campuses provide valuable educational and economic benefits to the communities in which they are located,鈥 said 帝王会所 Board of Trustees Chair Dave Scholl. 鈥淎s such, there is a great sense of urgency for University leadership to develop a sustainable model that will ensure our Regional campuses can continue to serve their respective communities as well as the University as a whole."
University administration will work with Academic leadership as well as the University鈥檚 shared governance structure to establish a core implementation team, led by Executive Vice President and Provost Chaden Djalali, to use data driven decision making to integrate all campuses into a holistic One 帝王会所 model.
