Inclusion Scholars Program

About the Scholarship

The Office of Inclusion is excited to offer OMS I & II students the opportunity to apply for the Inclusion Scholars program.

The Inclusion Scholars program is an opportunity to leverage the power of peers by uplifting the voices of Heritage College students. Inclusion Scholars are leaders on their respective campuses and are often already involved in efforts to advance the movement toward diversity, equity and inclusion. This scholarship provides formal opportunities for students to take a more active role in shaping the educational, cultural and social expectations of the Heritage College.

Inclusion Scholars are ambassadors for the Office of Inclusion and are committed to realizing its mission, vision and values. Students who take on the role of Inclusion Scholar are responsible for assisting in designing and implementing inclusion initiatives, conducting small research projects, acting as a liaison to students and student organizations and being Heritage College inclusion ambassadors.

The Inclusion Scholarship is for one academic year, with the scholarship funds ($3,000) distributed equally in two semesters.

Renewal of the Inclusion Scholarship for OMS II students is at the discretion of the Office of Inclusion.
