Interprofessional Care Certificate

Program Overview

The current trend for health care services is holistic care by a team of health care professionals. This certificate provides students with knowledge and skills in interprofessional education and practice in health care. Through coursework and experiential learning opportunities, students acquire competencies relating to interprofessional communication, teamwork, mutual respect and shared values, and the roles and responsibilities of a health care team.

Admissions Information

Freshman/First-Year Admission

Students currently enrolled in any major within the College of Health Sciences and Professions qualify for admission to this certificate program. Students are encouraged to apply for the certificate in their freshman or sophomore year in order to best facilitate timely completion of the certificate requirements.

Change of Program Policy

As mentioned above, students must be enrolled in a major within the College of Health Sciences and Professions to be eligible to enroll in this certificate program. External Transfer Admission
