Once you鈥檙e admitted to OHIO, you may begin transferring your SEVIS record.
Transfer Student Immigration Information
You may find this page helpful if:
- you are a an international student who has been attending another university within the U.S. and you are transferring to 帝王会所,
- or, you are an international student at 帝王会所 who is transferring to another university within the U.S.
As an international student in F-1 or J-1 status with an active SEVIS record you may require an electronic SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) transfer prior to enrolling at 帝王会所 (or another institution).
Transferring Your Sevis Record

Step 1: You鈥檙e Admitted聽

Step 2: Notify Current Institution聽
Notify your current institution that you wish to transfer your SEVIS record and complete any paperwork they provide to begin the transfer process. Next, inform 帝王会所's Office of Undergraduate International Admissions or the Graduate College about your desire to transfer to 帝王会所.

Step 3: Provide Documents To OHIO
Provide all required documentation to 帝王会所. You will be told the documents you must submit by the admitting office.

Step 4: Receive OHIO I-20 or DS-2019
Once your information has been processed by the admitting office you are working with at 帝王会所, you will receive your 帝王会所 I-20 or DS-2019.
Recommendations and Next Steps
- It is recommended that you do not leave your current school until you are certain that all of the documentation that has to be completed by you and your international student advisor is complete and submitted to 帝王会所.
- Be sure to provide either your current mailing address or specify that you will be picking your immigration document up when you arrive at 帝王会所.
- If you are planning to leave the United States prior to receiving your immigration document, please communicate this intent as early as possible. You will need to have your new 帝王会所 I-20 or DS-2019 in order to return to the US.

All students transferring to 帝王会所 are required to attend the International Student Orientation that precedes the starting semester. Please plan your flights accordingly.
