Expert Bio
Richard “Rick” Hodges served in the House of Representatives from 1993-1999 where he served on the Health and Retirement Committee and Chair of the Commerce and Labor Committee. Following his time in the legislature, he worked for hospitals and private industry groups, in Toledo, Tucson and Milwaukee, developing and implementing employee benefit plans, health insurance products, and serving as a management collective bargaining agent. In 2011 he joined the administration of Gov. John Kasich where he served as Director of the Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission and Department of Health.
He has been with 7 years. He is a graduate of Oberlin College and received his Masters of Public Administration from the University of Toledo.
